Organized to showcase the rich heritage of the Matasya region, the festival offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the traditions, arts, cuisine, and natural wonders of Alwar.  Named after the ancient Matsya Kingdom, one of the earliest kingdoms mentioned in Indian history, the festival pays tribute to the region’s glorious past while celebrating its living cultural traditions. Over two days, Alwar transforms into a colorful stage where folk artists, craftsmen, musicians, performers, and local communities come together to present the essence of Rajasthan’s cultural richness.
