Mookambika Navrathri Festival 2024
During the Navarathri festivities, special rituals such as Shatha Rudrabhishekas are conducted, alongside the “Kalpoktha Navarathri Special Pooja” held at night. This nine-day celebration features the “Navadurgalankara” ritual. On Mahanavami, the ninth day, a grand Car Festival (Rathotsava) takes place, where the Devi is placed on a beautifully decorated Pushparatha. Throughout these nine days, the “Chandi” Sthotra is recited daily, accompanied by the performance of the “Chandika Homa.” The celebrations culminate on Vijayadashami, when thousands of devotees participate in the Aksharabhyasa Seva at the Saraswathi Mantapa.
